About the Origin of my interest in the game
2000 brought along with it Flight Simulator 2000. One day, I was visiting one of my friends at his house. We were about about to play Worms on his PC. On his desktop, I noticed the Flight Simulator icon. I asked him if I were to try it out. Amid much protest from him, I went on it anyway, and had a go. I can remember my first ever flght was in the default concorde that came with the software. I was shocked to find it was soooooo complicated. I set myself a challenge of learing to fly on Flight Simulator. For christmas that year, I went out to buy Flight simulator 98 from the local GAME. I practiced for days on end, until I could fly from Heathrow, do a circuit of london, and then fly into northolt in a Boeing 737. This took about 3 months to master perfectly. For Christmas 2004, my brother and I were given a 64-bit PC for Homework and games. To my sheer amazement, I got Flight simulator 2004: A century of FLight, AND a Trust Joystick. Unfrotunatrly for my brother, I continue today to play on Flight SImulator and download aircraft from SimViation.
